My brother....Wincest...*laughs like crazy* Oh and Thanksgiving and gifts too.
Everything is separated under cuts so I don't take up a bunch of space on your guys' flist and so you can pick and choose what you read about. ^_^

Yeah, so on Friday night, Heidi, Kristina and I decided to go out. But first, let me do this:

THANK YOU, HEIDI!!!! *spins in spinny chair because I can* Yay! I have season 2 of Smallville now! I'm pretty sure you guys can guess what I'm going to watch when both my roommates go to their meetings tonight. ^_^ *hugs*

But yes, we decided to go out because we are all finally 21. We ended up each ordering one drink and then we just tasted each others and went about eating our food. (Which, funny story about the size of those drinks because they were huge and...just, yes.)

Anyway, we ended up back at my house and picked Supernatural to watch so Heidi could see more of season 1. We watched "Phantom Traveler" (or sort of watched it...we talked quite a bit and then paid attention when they got to the airport because Dean's facial expressions are just funny from that point on). Next, "Bloody Mary" and we actually sat through that. Heidi had seen "Skin" so we moved on to "Hook Man". (Which, good point, Heidi, that girl in the episode does look like the one in "Bloody Mary".) Anyway, we were near the end of the episode when my brother joins us. (It was right about the time where Dean tells Sam not to go through her underwear drawer because the first thing out of my brother's mouth is, "Pervert." LOL.) So he watches that with us and then at the end when Dean is in the Impala and Sam is talking to Laurie and then he gets in the car without a kiss or anything, my brother goes, "That's it? Not even a phone number? Come on, dude, she's obviously into you." And I'm just shaking my head and going, "Nope. They're moving onto the next job and the next town." Yeah, then Dean says they could stay and Sam shakes his head and they share that little look and what are the next words of realization out of my brother's mouth? "Oh...they're gay!"

That would be the point where I just started laughing and explained no, they're not gay even though people make that mistake quite a bit, they're brothers. And that he probably didn't get her number because once they leave the town, they won't be heading back unless they have to for a job.

Yes, that was one of the most amusing moments of the week for me. My brother totally thought the Winchesters were boyfriends instead of brothers. Hee.

Anyway, hope your Thanksgiving was great (or your Thursday, if you're not in the States), I know I had fun. My family decided to play Texas Hold 'Em and Blackjack and a couple other games after dinner so my night was spent "gambling" with all my cousins, my brother, my aunts and uncles, and my mom and her boyfriend. My two 15 year old cousins, Charlie and Jeremy, kicked all our asses at Texas Hold 'Em. Seriously, those two can bluff. It ended up going down to just the two of them and then Jeremy ended up winning. We started up Blackjack at the other end of the table sometime during that. *g* Plus, there were so many of us that we pretty much didn't have any leftover turkey for the first time in...ever, I think.

kammgirl's gift is going in the mail today and a little something for Sarah is as well. (Speaking of, now that I finally have time to write, I can actually follow through on said promise of posting your fic! I swear this wasn't supposed to take this long. Ever. LOL.) I've got Nebula's gift pretty much ready to go, so that'll probably get mailed tomorrow. Wednesday at the latest. The store still didn't have Rachel's gift by the time I left, so I'm just going to get it over here and then mail it. And I've just got to check something for mutinousmuse's gift and then I can get that ready and send it off. havemy_heart is pretty much ready to get sent off too, so I'll try to mail that on the same day as Nebula's. ^_^ And I think that's it for now. I've got other people that I said I'd get something for and those are up next, whether it's mail or actually buying something.

While I'm extremely happy to know my prezzie is almost on the way (yay!), stop being such an overachiever! I haven't even organized who I'm getting stuff for and who I'm sending cards to.

*curls into a little ball and stresses*
Nicole: Don't you just want to hug him? Hee!blue_icy_rose on November 27th, 2006 10:49 pm (UTC)
*pets you* No need to stress! I just can't help myself at Christmas. I just see stuff and I want to get them for friends because I'm reminded of them when I see whatever it is and then I have to fight with myself, lol. Yesterday alone, I saw two other things that reminded me of you and your gift and it's probably a good thing I didn't have my money on me or I would have bought them and added them in. (Though I will admit to being tempted to going back and getting them anyway. *nods*)

I wonder if there's a name for this....hmm....something to think about. But anyway, no, no stressing. Just remember that you're still in November, so you've got time. :)
Sarah :): SPN--Sammy OMG!sarah_p on November 29th, 2006 08:37 am (UTC)
Holy COW, you're on top of things. Duuuuuude. IT STILL IS NOVEMBER, YOU REALIZE?? RIGHT??

and a little something for Sarah is as well

Oh, man, you HAD to say that. NOW I WILL BE ALL EXCITED AND STUFF UNTIL I KNOOOOW WHAT IT IS. Yay! :)

Annnnnd, no worries about the fic! As long as I get to read the Dean and Sam goodness SOMEtime, I'm fine with it being posted whenever you want it to be. Double yay! :)
Nicole: Who wouldn't is what I want to know.blue_icy_rose on November 29th, 2006 04:26 pm (UTC)
Hee, I just can't help myself at Christmas! I see stuff and I'm like "Oooh! So and so would like that!" (Or I would, if I had a friend named So and so. ~_^)

LOL, it's really not that big. Just sort of a "Here's something to tide you over because OMG YAY! I saw something for you at the store!" type thing. And okay, because I was thinking of people's wishlists and yeah...

And yes, Dean and Sam goodness is coming soon. *glances at clock* Hell, who needs class anyway? Right? Right. Especially when I've been doing the study guide and lo! There's the lectures! Yeesh, I didn't even have to be going this whole time, darn it. No wonder attendance doesn't count in that class.
I don't see another goddamn narrator, so pipe down: stow the self-help-yoga craplunacat on November 30th, 2006 03:18 am (UTC)
THANK YOU, HEIDI!!!!

YOU'RE WELCOME!!!! Now I have to figure out what the hell to get you for X-mas, lol.

(Which, funny story about the size of those drinks because they were huge and...just, yes.)

Hee! Yes, huge and delicious. Yum! I should order random drinks with cool sounding names more often!

Which, good point, Heidi, that girl in the episode does look like the one in "Bloody Mary".

Glad it wasn't just
the wine
my imagination talking.

and what are the next words of realization out of my brother's mouth? "Oh...they're gay!"

LMAO! That was such a priceless moment! Seriously though, what is it with TV brothers lately? The Winchester boys (and the Petrelli brothers from
Heroes
, come to think of it) look like they're going to make out with each other any second.

I didn't know you played cards on Thanksgiving, that's awesome! I'll have to remember to bring a deck to our next Thanksgiving, might help with those awkward moments of silence. ;)
Nicole: Was there any doubt on this?blue_icy_rose on December 1st, 2006 01:43 am (UTC)
Hee, Christmas! Yay!

Yes! You should order random drinks more often! Who knows what you'll get? :)

Hmm...maybe the wine just made you sharper. LOL. *nods*

LMAO, I still haven't seen enough of Heroes to know that (I didn't even know Peter had a brother until your poll! LOL.) but they really do, don't they? I bet the actors are just having an affair and it's that that everyone's picking up on. Yup. *is soooo in denial land clearly*

Cards was fun! And it helped the youngers kids with math, lol. (See? Gambling is educational!) Definitely kept things interesting throughout the night though. Hee!
